Stage 1 Phonics

In Phase 1 children develop their ability to listen to and hear different sounds. They explore how sounds can be made, put together and broken down. Phase 1 is split into seven aspects:
- Environmental sounds
- Instrumental sounds
- Body percussion
- Rhythm and rhyme
- Alliteration
- Voice sounds
- Oral blending and segmenting

Each activity card includes everything you need to start playing and learning with your child:
